Ansley Holland

Ansley Holland specializes in oil painting and ink drawing. From a young age, she has been drawn to all things artistic and creative. As a child she studied art with the guidance of both of her parents who were talented artists.  Every opportunity she gets to paint reminds her of fond childhood memories drawing with them. Her love of art grew throughout her childhood from crayon drawings to high school competitions in photography and drawing.

Ansley committed to studying art seriously at Texas A&M University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Visualization  with a minor in Art and Architectural History. During her time at Texas A&M, she had the unique opportunity to study art and art history in Florence, Italy. While in Italy she learned the classic skills of fresco painting and quill and ink drawing. These studies created a solid foundation on which she expanded her talent. Her work was displayed at Texas A&M Vizagogo 27, 28, 29, and 30 which showcases student artists. Her work has also been displayed in the Benjamin Knox Gallery in College Station, Texas.

Through her art, she emphasizes the fine details and wonders of God’s creation while seeking to reflect its intricacies. Her love of art  is strengthened by her relationship with God, and she sees her artistic ability as a gift meant to reflect His glory. Ansley considers art to be not only expressions of imagination but also a way to celebrate and reflect His miraculous creation.
